Fantine from the Les Miserables book. She is reading the letter from Tholomyes that he gives her when he leaves. I guess I just wanted to draw something more Arina Tanemura like.... This was my attempt. Lots of folds... and ink.

The hair and the dress are really good. You just need to work on the proportions :) The size of the head doesn't match the body so maybe find a tutorial on proportions :) They really help me ^^

o my goodness! i am such a huge fan of les miserables! i can sing this whole song by heart! along, with every other song from les mis! best. musical. ever! fantine's hair and gown are so detailed! is so beautiful, i like the touch of adding the song lyrics in!
